 Article 6-
 A- The committee shall convene at the invitation of the mayor, or his deputy during his absence, once way month at least. The quorum for its meetings shall be formed by the presence of no less than the majority of its members, provided that they will include the mayor or his deputy. It shall, however, take its decisions at least by majority of the votes of its members.
 B- For the purpose of carrying out its work, the committee shall be entitled to form one or more ad hoc (specialized) committees from among its members, provided that their functions and powers will be determined according to their formation decision.
 C- The council may pay on annual remuneration to any of the committee members or to the members of any of the committees formed by the committee, in conformity with rules determined according to instructions issued by the council to this effect, provided that it will be paid out in accordance with effective legislations.

 Article 7-
A market director shall be appointed by a decision from the mayor, and shall assume the following tasks and powers:
 A- Supervise the organization of the market affairs, in conformity with the provisions of this Regulation and the instructions issued there under.
 B- Draw up the market’s draft budget and submit it to the committee to obtain its approval and therefore refer it to the council for its ratification.
 C- Any other powers delegated to it by the council.

 Article 8-
 A- The council shall allocate a ratio net to exceed (5%) of the market revenues for spending on the studies and researches pertaining to market activities, and organize the necessary training courses to develop marketing methods, in conformity with the interest of all parties of the marketing process.
 B- In addition to the contents of paragraph (A) of this Article, the council may allocate the necessary funds to spend therefrom for the purposes of market facilities and their development, updating (modernizing) and sustainability.

 Article 9-
 A- The council shall appoint a chartered or certified public accountant to review the market accounts and audit its financial statements and final accounts.
 B- The market accounts shall be subject to the audit of the accounting bureau.

 Article 10-
The committee shall prepare, at the end of each financial year, a report on the market business (activities) and on its financial statements shall present them to the council for their ratification.

 Article 11-
The market stores (shops) and facilities shall be occupied through public auction, according to rules and conditions specified in accordance with instructions issued by the council at the recommendation of the committee for this purpose.

 Article 12-
 A-
 1- The sale or display of any product for wholesale shall be prohibited at any place other than the market.
 2- The sale or display of any product outside the market within the municipality region boundaries shall be prohibited, unless it has been purchased from the market.
 3- Resale inside the market shall be prevented.
 B- The council may allow, in special cases, the sale of certain brands of the agricultural product outside the market under conditions deemed appropriate by it.
 C- The agricultural products contracted for the purposes of their export, shall be excluded from the condition of their sale in the market.
