Article
13-
Agricultural production
requirements of any
type, shall be
prohibited from their
sale inside the market,
except for onion bulbs
and potato seeds.
Article
14-
A- A product offered in the
market shall be sold by
weight and though public
auction. The council
shall issue, at the
recommendation of the
committee, the necessary
instructions for this
purpose.
B- The market director
shall announce the hours
for starting the sale
through public auction
and is closing time, as
well as the sale prices,
on the bounds designated
in the market for this
purpose.
Article
15-
A- It is conditional for
the sale agent to be
Jordanian and holder of
a profession license.
B- The ratio of commission
received by the agent
from the sale of the
product at the market,
may not exceed
(5%) of
the net amount of sales,
whether the product is
local or imported.
Article
16-
The agent must provide
the seller or farmer
with a schedule of the
quantities of this
product sold in the
market, indicating
therein the selling
hours and date, as well
as the product’s weight,
the unit sale price, and
the total amount
generated from the sale,
and the withholdings
(deductions) made
thereto.
Article
17-
A- The Greater Amman
Municipality, or the
relevant municipality
shall levy the following
fees on the products:
1-
(4%) of the net
amount of the selling
price of each ton of
vegetables, or each ton
of fruits, or each ton
of mixed vegetables and
fruits.
2- amount of the selling
price of flowers and
ornamental plants.
B- The fees stipulated in
paragraph
(A) of this
Article shall be levied
from the agent when the
product enters the
market or after selling
it. The buyer shall,
however, aid by him when
the product entered the
market or after it has
been sold.
C- The fees stipulated in
paragraph
(A) of this
Article are considered
to be inclusive of the
steelyard
(platform
scale) and auctioning
fees.
D- The fees paid on any
product destroyed inside
the market shall be duly
reimbursed according to
the adopted rules.
